Sydney, Australia – 30 November 2023 — In a momentous occasion at the 23rd World Congress on Safety and Health at Work in Sydney, Australia, the President of the International Social Security Association (ISSA), Dr Mohammed Azman, received the comprehensive report from the “Contributing to Policymaking in Occupational Safety and Health in China and the EU” project. The report, a collaborative effort led by DGUV, MEM and NHC, was presented during the Global Forum for Injury Insurance.
Dr Kemper, Director of International Relations at the DGUV and a distinguished expert in occupational safety and health, embarked on a journey of knowledge exchange and collaboration to Sydney. His itinerary included participation in various workshops and expert sessions, emphasizing the critical importance of health and safety in an evolving work landscape.
The presentation, which took place at the Global Forum for Injury Insurance on November 27, 2023, highlighted valuable insights and recommendations derived from the project’s findings. The report, a culmination of research, analysis, and collaboration between Chinese and European experts, aims to contribute significantly to global efforts in enhancing occupational safety and health policies.
